Liberia and Guinea Officials Reaffirm Strong Bilateral Ties

The Deputy Speaker of the Transitional Assembly of Guinea, Hon. Maimouna Yombono Bangoura, on Tuesday paid a courtesy visit to Liberia’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Guinea, H.E. Forkpa Gizzie, at the Liberian Embassy in Conakry.
The meeting focused on strengthening the long-standing relationship between Liberia and Guinea. Discussions highlighted parliamentary cooperation, regional integration, people-to-people exchanges, and closer collaboration in peace, security, trade, and culture.
Ambassador Gizzie reaffirmed Liberia’s commitment to deepening ties with Guinea, describing the partnership as vital to promoting stability and growth across the region.
Hon. Bangoura thanked Ambassador Gizzie for the warm reception and emphasized the importance of sustained cooperation between the two neighboring countries.
Liberia and Guinea have pledged to continue working together in the spirit of friendship, solidarity, and mutual cooperation.
