us-strikes-iran1 Breaking News: U.S. Strikes Iranian Nuclear Sites Amid Escalating Conflict

In a significant escalation of tensions, President Donald Trump announced that the United States has conducted airstrikes on three key Iranian nuclear facilities: Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan. The strikes were reportedly carried out using B-2 stealth bombers and Tomahawk missiles, with six bunker-buster bombs specifically targeting the Fordow site.

President Trump described the operation as “highly successful,” stating that all U.S. aircraft have safely exited Iranian airspace. He further claimed that Fordow, often considered the centerpiece of Iran’s nuclear program, has been “completely and totally obliterated.”

Iran has confirmed the attacks on the Fordow facility but asserts that the sites were evacuated prior to the strikes, mitigating the risk of radiation exposure. The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has not reported any increase in radiation levels at the affected sites.

The airstrikes have resulted in significant casualties. Iran reports over 400 deaths and more than 3,000 injuries among its citizens due to the attacks. In Israel, 24 individuals have been killed in recent Iranian missile strikes.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed that the U.S. actions were fully coordinated with Israel, marking a direct military involvement by the U.S. in the ongoing conflict.

The United Nations has condemned the escalation, urging all parties to exercise restraint and return to diplomatic negotiations.

This development marks a pivotal moment in the Middle East, with global implications for security and diplomacy. Further updates will follow as the situation evolves.
