Fresh off presenting his credentials to President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, France’s newly accredited Ambassador to Liberia, H.E. Dominique Pierre Delpuech, stepped into a key diplomatic engagement this week, meeting with Education Minister Dr. Jarso Maley Jallah to forge closer institutional ties between Paris and Monrovia.

The high-level talks, hosted at the Ministry of Education, targeted pressing structural transformations within Liberia's school system—specifically teacher training quality, educational modernization, and technical skills development for a youthful labor force. For Minister Jallah, who also serves as Liberia’s representative on UNESCO’s Executive Board, the partnership arrives at a critical juncture as the Ministry aggressively pursues sweeping educational reforms. The diplomatic visit underscores a broader revitalization of bilateral cooperation between France and Liberia under the Boakai administration, extending beyond traditional economic sectors like energy and mining into human capital development and institutional capacity building.
