Lesotho’s Prime Minister, Sam Matekane, has honored Wodemaya and Megabush, two of Africa’s most prominent content creators, recognizing their significant influence in promoting African narratives globally. The creators were warmly received by the Prime Minister and presented with gifts as a symbol of national appreciation from the Mountain Kingdom.

The recognition was shared by the official Lesotho Government Facebook page, which stated, “Africa’s finest content creators Wodemaya and Megabush were warmly received by the Prime Minister of Lesotho… Their voices have echoed across the continent—now their footprints leave a legacy in the Mountain Kingdom. Rea leboha Bo-Ntate for carrying our stories to the world.”

He also referred to Prime Minister Matekane as “The Richest Man In Lesotho.”

The Lesotho Tourism Development Corporation (LTDC) also acknowledged the content creators via its official Facebook page, highlighting Wodemaya’s meeting with the Minister of Tourism, Hon. Motlatsi Maqelepo. The LTDC noted that “Gratitude was sealed with a handshake today as Wodemaya met with the PS and Minister of Tourism… to officially thank him for taking our story to the world.”
